Indigenous Driving Program - Kambu Medical

To assist Aunty Vera and Kambu with their Driving Program for youth, we have brokered a partnership between Kambu and the Broncos to cover the cost of Uncle Norm to run the learners examinations to the total of $3600 for 12 months.

The Broncos will also give Kambu a signed and framed Broncos Jersey to auction in 2012. Kambu has also partnered with Children of the Dreaming to undertake Indigenous Driving lessons.

Children of the Dreaming have purchased and fitted out two cars to deliver FREE driving lessons for Indigenous youth.

We are now seeking support for the cost of the license for the Indigenous youth. DEEDI are looking for solutions to this end. Aunty Vera also wants to arrange Defensive Driving for the Indigenous youth too. We are continuing our investigations towards this.
